As a Carpenter at Rosette Forever Homes, you'll be responsible for high-quality framing, installations, finish work, and contributing to a clean, safe job site. You'll work closely with lead carpenters and supervisors, helping ensure each project runs smoothly and meets the high expectations we set for ourselves and our clients. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes initiative, and is committed to continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Assist with layout, framing, cabinetry, millwork, windows, doors, and trim
- Set up tools and materials at the start of each day
- Execute installations with precision and care
- Communicate clearly with lead carpenters and supervisors
- Be proactive in suggesting solutions and asking for clarification when needed
- Support the flow of work by anticipating needs and minimizing downtime
- Clock in/out using JobTread
- Upload receipts for company purchases
- Support accurate documentation of project progress as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout the day
- Ensure tools and materials are stored properly at day's end
- Follow safety policies and ensure PPE is worn consistently
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience in residential carpentry or remodeling
- Strong understanding of tools, materials, and building processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
